The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu...

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if

desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or

hot entree. School lunches are $2 each.

TODAY

Munchable Lunch Salad with Dannon fruit yogurt or Foster Farms

corn dog, potato wedges, Sun Maid Raisins, Dr. Seuss birthday cake

and choice of milk.

WEDNESDAY

Munchable lunch salad or chicken nuggets, zucchini sticks with

ranch dip, apricots, reduced fat Cheetos and choice of milk.

THURSDAY

*Munchable lunch salad or two carnitas and bean soft tacos with

lettuce, cheese and salsa mixed fruit, pudding cup and choice of

milk.

FRIDAY

Munchable lunch salad or grilled cheese sandwich, crisp green

salad with ranch, peach cup and choice of milk.

MONDAY

Munchable lunch salad or sloppy joe on a bun, baby carrots with

ranch dip, applesauce, pretzel goldfish and choice of milk.

The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,

crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit

yogurt and honey-roasted peanuts. (*peanut butter on selected days)

Papa John’s Pizza is served one day a week with vegetable, fruit

and milk at each school in place of the regular menu.

College Park, Davis, Harbor View, Kaiser, Newport Elementary.

TUESDAY

Andersen, California, Eastbluff, Rea & Sonora.

WEDNESDAY

Mariner’s, Victoria and Wilson.

THURSDAY

Adams, Killybrooke, Newport Coast, Newport Heights and Pomona.

FRIDAY

Lincoln, Paularino, Whittier and Woodland.
