Tryouts for Club girls’ soccer begin Saturday

In attempt to establish a Club girls’ soccer program in Laguna Beach,

Mike Thomas, the girls’ soccer coach at Laguna Beach High, will hold

a tryout session Saturday.

The tryout will run between 10:30 a.m. and noon on the school’s

campus soccer field.

All girls ages 8 to 16 are invited to tryout, Thomas said, adding

that addition tryout sessions will be held over the next two weeks.

“Forming a Club girls’ soccer program is the only way to attempt

to have a competitive high school team,” Thomas said.
