Sparks rebound vs. Razz-Ma-Tazz
Addie Richley scored nine points to lead the Sparks to a 20-12
victory over the Razz-Ma-Tazz in Newport-Mesa third- and fourth-grade
girls National Junior Basketball action.
Rickie Archie and Nicole Hickey each scored four points for the
Sparks.
Kylie Mulvaney and Seneca Jokosky each tallied four points for the
Razz-Ma-Tazz.
* Celtics 25, Gold Rush 14:
Shannon Griffin and Annie Alvarado each scored seven points to
lead the Celtics while Mary McKennon and Melissa Hergott each tallied
five points for the Gold Rush.
* Sisters of Hope 25, Lady Seminoles 15:
Ava Soleimany finished with a game- and season-high 18 points as
the Sisters of Hope remained undefeated. Ally Brahs added five
points.
Sarah Cox led the Seminoles with eight points.
* Liquidators 28, Raptors 20:
The Liquidators improved to 2-0 with the victory.
Asia Andry led the Liquidators with 14 points while Taylor Stefano
added seven.
Amanda Parril scored 10 points for the Raptors.
Three L’s lead Lakers
* The Lakers defeated the Mavericks, 37-11, to kick off the
Newport-Mesa fifth- and sixth-grade girls National Junior Basketball
League.
Lindsay Anderson led the Lakers with 14 points while LiAnne
Sarisuk tallied seven. Laura Martinez led the Mavericks with four
points.

* Shock 30, Globetrotters 19:
Kylee Malone led the Shock with 19 points followed by Katelyn
Baker’s six.
Ellie Nadal and Saylor Schroff led the defense.
Duran Sharp scored 10 points for the Globetrotters while Kassie
Stratton anchored the defense.
* Trojans 30, Pirates 19:
Kathleen Etuale finished with 14 points for the Trojans followed
by eight from Kelly Heenan.
Cynthia Waterman played staunch defense.
The Pirates were led by Allie Moskovits’s five points.
