Fundraiser for youth club on at Wingnuts

Wingnuts will be hosting a fundraiser tonight benefiting the

Westside Boys & Girls Club. Youngsters from the club, in Costa Mesa,

will become waiters and waitresses and all tips collected will be

matched by Wingnuts management.

Wingnuts owner Gregg Diganci came up with the idea. He created an

employee volunteerism program that requires each staff member to

perform two hours of community service each month at the club. The

program brings needed volunteers to the nonprofit organization and

encourages employees to think altruistically.

The fundraising event starts at 6 p.m. Wingnuts is at 3030 Harbor

Blvd. in Costa Mesa.
