Estancia fifth in own tourney
Estancia High’s boys water polo team finished fifth in its tournament
Saturday, posting a pair of victories over Woodbridge and Sage Hill.
The Eagles(5-8) defeated Woodbridge, 5-2, behind four goals from
senior Paul Collier.
In the second game, Collier scored five more in a 7-6,
come-from-behind victory.
Richard McElveny added a goal in each contest for Estancia. Sean
Goodman also scored in the victory over Sage Hill. Goalie Nathan
Marsteller made seven saves in the first game and five in the second.
Sage Hill led the Eagles, 4-1, at halftime and had one-goal leads
three times in the fourth quarter. But Estancia finally took the lead
on a Collier goal late in the final period.
