Margo Ferris of Huntington Beach has been named chair of the
Acquisitions Committee for the fifth annual Cattle Baron’s Ball
benefiting the American Cancer Society, Orange County Region. Along
with a 100-member volunteer support group, Ferris will chair the
committee responsible for obtaining donated items for the silent and
live auctions. Organizers hope to raise $500,000 to help fund
research grants, educational programs and patient services for Orange
