Where have you gone, Dennis Rodman?
Say it isn’t so, Dennis. You want to move from Newport Beach to a
more conservative area in Orange County? Please, please, say it isn’t
so. For us here in this community to lose such a distinguished and
elegant gentleman, or at least a vibrant and vivacious personality
such as yours, will be a loss to us all. Including the Newport Beach
Police Department.
We have all here anxiously waited for each and every episode of
your notable career, your endeavors, and each citation and arrest.
We will all miss you so much and your hilarious antics. You have
become the color and the talk in this community, and without you,
there will be surely be a void with your departure. The community,
and especially your neighbors that have enjoyed your all night
parties, will grieve you moving on to bigger and better things. Maybe
you could reconsider?
On your political career, should you decide to stay in Newport
Beach, could be promising. I for one would support you for City
Council. You definitely have the exposure here for a good run at
office. Shake things up, so to speak, Dennis.
I wonder how you could even consider leaving Newport Beach and
your waterfront home with your personal helipad on the beach. And
your local watering hole? What will become of this famous
establishment? I hope you will grace us with your presence from time
to time and keep your legend alive for us. This is the least you
could for us, Dennis.
Should this not be possible, and you decide not return to Newport
Beach, then I hope your new neighbors welcome you with the respect
you so fully deserve. Good luck and good fortune, Dennis.
