Pajevic among Sea View’s best
Newport Harbor High senior Nedim Pajevic has been named Co-Player of
the Year by Sea View League boys basketball coaches.
Pajevic, a 6-foot-9 center who averaged 15.7 points and more than
13 rebounds per game, helped the Sailors finish second in the league
behind Woodbridge and advance to the CIF Southern Section Division
II-AA Playoffs.
Joining Pajevic on the all-league first team is senior teammate
Chase Cameron, while senior Chad Rorden and junior Andre Pinesett
represent the Sailors on the second team.
Cameron averaged 7.9 points in his second season as a starter.
Cameron and Pajevic were second-team selections a year ago.
Rorden chipped in 6.7 ppg, while Pinesett added 5.9 ppg.
Pajevic, who will represent the South in the Orange County
