For openers, regarding the June-gloom October we just endured and

the sports-type stats that I probably easily lifted from a data base

... just to clear things up (no pun intended) ... To paraphrase the

guy in the movie “Blazing Saddles,” “Data base? What data base? We

don’t need no stinkin’ data base!”

Ask anybody who knows me in this town. I am a walking dot-com! I

have personal comprehensive daily weather and surf records that go

back to October 1957.

I study them so much I’ve got them memorized. Plus I’ve been

blessed or cursed with a photographic memory and an I.Q. of 151, plus

a weather station right out of “Star Wars.” And it’s not just weather

stats.

NFL, NHL, major league baseball, NBA and stock market histories

from since the beginning of all of the above.

Back to the business at hand.

Last week was warmer than any day or night last summer. Take last

Tuesday for instance.
