The Young Guns scored eight goals in the first two periods of play

and went on to post an 11-3 victory over the Red Bulls in a Mite

Division contest.

Four players got into the scoring act for the Young Guns and six

others recorded assists.

Janien Barber got the win in the net with 23 saves.

Colten Daigneault and David Marabella had four goals each.

Tyler Lakes scored two goals and Collin Beck scored once.

Lakes and Beck each had an assist, Brian Daigneault led the team

with three assists and John Webb and Kian Rhodes each finished with

two assists.

The victory moved the unbeaten Young Guns to 7-0 in the season.

In seven games they have outscored their opponents 81-20.

The Red Bulls’ scoring was spread evenly among Garrett Haar, Brad

Brandenburg and David Loy.

Dylan Verrastro had one assist.

The loss dropped the Red Bulls to 4-3 overall, good still, for

second place in the division standings.

The Rookies held off the fast-charging Pacific Coast Falcons to

win this closely contested match.

Connor Cal Lathrope and Shayne Nelson each scored twice and Kyle

Impelman opened the game’s scoring with an unassisted goal to pace

the Rookies.

Lathrope also had an assist, Dylan Heyden assisted a goal and

Hunter Herrick led the team with a pair of assists.

The Pacific Coast Falcons got goals from Zane Weber, Kevin Lassen,

Andrew Willingham and Colby Rios.
