Historical Impressionist Peter

M. Small will perform his one-man portrayal of President Harry S.

Truman at 2 p.m. at Temple Isaiah. During the performance, Small

describes Truman’s life and decisions as president -- from the atomic

bombing of Japan to the dismissal of Gen. Douglas MacArthur. The

The group Brasil Brazil will perform salsa rhythms and Latin jazz

at a concert sponsored by Newport Beach Arts and Cultural Services

Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce Newport Sunrise Breakfast at 7:30

a.m. The special breakfast, sponsored by Sheldon Pines of the

Transportation Corridor Agencies, will be held at the Radisson Hotel

in Newport Beach. The hotel is at 4545 MacArthur Blvd. $20 for

A showing of “Clock Stoppers” will begin at dusk as part of the

Newport Dunes Resort Movies on the Beach series. The film will be

shown on a giant screen situated on the sand. Guests are encouraged
