Where to find the large print

HOW I READ IT

For those of us who believe that as one grows older, regardless of

magnification, printed material gets smaller and smaller, let me

introduce you to a very important part of our library, the LARGE

PRINT SECTION.

This section will not help you read this paper or nutritional

labels at the super-market, but for many it will greatly enhance

their recreational reading time. This section represents a small part

of the library, but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for

in quality!

I spent a few minutes in the fiction area of this section and

noted major works by several respected authors including: Ken Follet,

Dick Francis, Jonathan Kellerman, Dean Koontz, P.D. James, Jack

Higgins, Tony Hillerman, Larry McMurtry, James Michener, Clive

Cussler and Patricia Cornwell. By spending a little more time plus

additional access to the entire library system, I’m sure you will be

able to find large print works by your favorite authors.

In the nonfiction area, there are several biographies and

autobiographies of famous personalities and other interesting

subjects including “How the Irish Saved Civilization” and “Dr. Ruth’s

Guide to Good Sex.” These last two may include both fiction and

nonfiction aspects! The “Reader’s Digest” is also available in large

print.

may be of some assistance to you or someone you know -- Check Us Out!
