Many cats and dogs, such as Ellie, need various surgeries and
medicines. By donating money to the Community Animal Network to help
save local animals, those cats and dogs can receive the treatment
they need.
“Our ‘Angel Veterinarians’ give their time and have lowered their
fees, and caring people nurture them in their homes,” said DiAnna
Pfaff-Martin, founder of the network. “A lot of effort, time and
money goes into saving lives.”
Simba, the orange tabby that lived in the hospital, has been
offered a home at a horse stable to get away from his current caged
home. However, the organization still hopes to find someone who will
offer him a loving indoor home, Pfaff-Martin said.
