WEATHER FORECAST
Much like every day in recent memory, we’ll encounter early morning
clouds and fog, but will enjoy mostly sunny skies this afternoon. Highs
will hit the mid-70s in Costa Mesa and the upper 60s along the Newport
Beach coast. Lows will be in the upper 50s.
We’ll be provided much the same Saturday, but temperatures should rise
a tad Sunday.

BOATING FORECAST
The westerly winds will blow 10 to 20 knots in the inner waters this
afternoon, with 1- to 3-foot waves and a west swell of 2 to 4 feet.
Tonight, the winds will ease to about 10 knots. Fog will return tonight.
Out farther, a small-craft advisory will go into effect as the
northwesterly winds blow 15 to 25 knots, with combined seas of 6 to 9
feet. Fog will also be found out here tonight.
SURF
Another southwest swell will roll in today, but it won’t boost our
waves just yet. In fact, we’ll see knee- to waist-high sets today. By
Saturday, the surf should increase into the waist- to chest-high range.
