NEWPORT BEACH - The Sharks ended their season with a thrilling 2-1

victory over the Canadiens in the fourth-grade division of the Boys &

Girls Club of the Harbor Area roller hockey league.

Canon Call scored the game-winning goal with 14 seconds remaining to

cap a turnaround from a 1-0 deficit.

Coach Colby Newett’s Sharks, who finished second in the league

standings, scored both their goals in the fourth quarter.

The Canadiens took the lead in the second quarter, but Scotty

Pantoskey’s goal tied the game in the fourth.

The Sharks’ Daniel Netzer, Brandon Booth, Logan Newett and Eric Sansam

stood out on defense.

Logan Newett blocked 10 shots in the first half and Zack Moghaddan

stoned the Canadiens in the second half.
