The Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce will present “Enhance Your

Performance,” a two-hour seminar featuring Bob Davies of Human

Performance Training. Registration and a continental breakfast will start

Huntington Beach Tomorrow will hold its annual fund-raiser at 6 p.m.,

The American Cancer Society is urging teams to sign up for “Relay For

Life.” This is a 24-hour event where participants walk, run, play, camp

out, eat, socialize and otherwise have a great time raising funds for the

American Cancer Society. The event will take place on June 8 at 9:30 a.m.

at Golden West College, 15744 Goldenwest St. Teams of 10-20 people pay a

$150 registration free and the goal for each team member is to raise

The Preservation Society of Huntington Dog Beach is getting together

to clean up the beach from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pizza courtesy of Papa

Amnesty International Orange County will host the fifth annual Run for

Freedom 2002. This year’s run will be dedicated to bringing attention to

the current situation in Afghanistan and generating action for Rebiya

Kadeer, a Uigher businesswoman imprisoned in China. The 10K run will

begin at 7:30 a.m.; 5K at 8:45 a.m. and children’s 1/2K run at 9:45 a.m.

The Huntington Beach Mothers Club has play groups every day for moms

looking to get together with other moms and toddlers in the area. The

The North Huntington Beach Mom’s Club Playgroup will meet weekly

throughout Huntington Beach parks. Playgroups will meet at 3 p.m.

The Moms Offering Moms Support Club, a nonprofit support group for

stay-at-home mothers, organizes daily activities for mothers and their

The Pacific Coast Mothers Club, based in the Huntington Beach area, is

actively seeking new members. The group offers stay-at-home and employed
