Surf and Sun
WEATHER FORECAST
More of the same today. Mid-50s in the morning, rising to the high 60s
and even low 70s in some spots where the sun breaks through the clouds
the most. But it’ll be chilly by the water. Not as windy, but there’s a
chance of rain throughout the day.

BOATING FORECAST
The winds have calmed down after blowing a record Newport to Ensenada
race. The afternoon will see some 15-knot gusts from the northwest on the
inner waters, with 2-foot waves and a west swell at 3 feet.
The outer waters will show much the same, with a stronger swell from
the northwest at 4 to 6 feet. A slight chance of showers late.
SURF
More junky chest-high waves that will be fighting an ultra-low tide
early this morning. Word of a few steep faces, enough for one big bash.
