WEATHER FORECAST
A cloudy day with more rain. Temperatures will start in the low 50s
and climb only to the mid-60s. There will even be some strong gusts of
wind in the afternoon.

BOATING FORECAST
Expect a rainy and rough day on the water, with 15 to 20 knot wings
from the west and waves of up to 3 feet. The swell from the west will be
4 to 6 feet, dropping a bit in the afternoon and evening.
The winds will also be up to 20 knots on the deeper waters, with
stronger gusts northwest of San Nicolas Island. The swell will be from
the northwest at 9 to 11 feet. The swell will drop late to 6 to 8 feet.
SURF
More junky wind swell will be hitting the west-facing beaches. The
tide shifts will shut down most of what’s off Newport. Rumors of
head-high or better waves for midweek, though.
