1. Gotta have faith! Inspirational speaker Jim Denny, who’s family was

victimized by the Oklahoma City bombing in April 1995, will talk about

the importance of faith and family values as part of Vanguard

University’s 35th annual Good Friday Breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. today at

the Anaheim Marriott Hotel. Ed Arnold will serve as master of ceremonies.

2. All the eggs in one basket. That’s the goal for children for the

19th annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday at Eastbluff Park, co-sponsored

by Newport Beach Community Services and the Eastbluff Village Merchants

Assn. The hunt will begin at 10 a.m. Children 2 to 12 are invited and

will participate in age-specified categories scheduled at different

times. All children will receive a bag of candy and prizes. The park is

on the corner of Vista Del Oro and Vista Del Sol in Newport Beach. Free.

3: Eat, drink and be merry for Easter! Gustaf Anders, a restaurant

that features Swedish American cuisine, will serve an Easter meal Sunday

that includes Swedish meatballs, seafood salads, house-cured salmon,
