Tickets still available for Rose Parade
Newport Beach Community Services is still offering residents and
nonresidents a chance to go to the Rose Parade in Pasadena on New Year’s
Day.
The department is offering tickets at $90 for Newport Beach residents,
$100 for nonresidents. The tickets include a deluxe coach bus ride to
Pasadena and prime seating on the Colorado Boulevard parade route to
watch the 113th Annual Tournament of Roses Parade.
A continental breakfast prior to departure and lunch on the ride home
are also included.
The bus departs at 6 a.m. Tuesday from Mariners Park parking lot at
2005 Dover Drive in Newport Beach and will return at 1 p.m.
This year’s parade features 53 floats, 24 bands, 27 equestrians and
three official cars. Regis Philbin will be the parade’s grand marshal.
