WEDDINGS AND ENGAGEMENTS
Teresa Anne Brenner of Corona del Mar and Brett Harvey Hlista of Costa
Mesa exchanged wedding vows at Community Church Congregational in Corona
del Mar on Oct. 6.
The bride is the daughter of Clyda Joy Brenner of Corona del Mar and
Zaverio Brenner of Newport Beach. She is a graduate of Corona del Mar
High School and Chapman University.
The maid of honor was Elizabeth Brenner, the bride’s sister, and the
bridesmaids were Kristin Lofstrom, Sabrina Witzel, Jennifer Johnson,
Chrissy Whalen, Charlyn Grubbs and Sloane Richardson. The attendant of
honor was Nicole Hlista.
The groom is the son of Joann Hlista of Costa Mesa and Harvey Hlista
of Anaheim. He is a graduate of Newport Harbor High School and Tusculum
College in Tennessee.
The best man was Matt Burns. The groomsmen were Paul Johnson, Wade
Tift, Greg Osborne, Judd Crary, Steve Gonzales and Drew Lorenzen. Ushers
were Mike Freeman and Adam Cleary. The ring bearers were the groom’s
cousins Shane Crabbe and Samuel Messer.
The reception was held at the home and garden of Fred and Wendy Salter
in Corona del Mar’s Harbor View and was attended by 140 guests.
After a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple will be residing in
Owatonna, Minn., where the groom is employed by Federated Insurance, Inc.
Lake-James
Cathi Foley of San Diego and Bill Lake of Grand Terrace, announce the
engagement of their daughter Keree Lake to Adam James.
The bride-to-be graduated from UC Irvine, where she was affiliated
with Delta Gamma sorority.
The groom-to-be is the son of Karen and Warren James of Corona del
Mar. He is a graduate of Corona del Mar High School and the University of
Southern California, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting
and was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity.
She is a teacher and cheerleading coach at Corona del Mar High School
and he is the owner of Rx Count Corporation, a manufacturer of pharmacy
equipment.
A spring wedding is planned.
