Alpha Omega Fitness Equipment is a wholesaler of new, used and

refurbished exercise equipment. “We sell most of the major brands of

treadmills, stair steppers, stationery bikes, elliptical and rowers,”

says owner Jonathan Blitz. “As well as most strength equipment lines.”

Most of its sales are from refurbished equipment. Blitz says customers

pay 40 to 60 cents on the dollar for a refurbished piece. “Refurbished

pieces look and work like new but at a fraction of the cost,” Blitz says.

The Sak Elliott Lucca is new a handbag and footwear store that opened

at Fashion Island last month. The popular Sak is a tight-weave handbag,

straw. Footwear is a new addition to the company. Sak Elliott Lucca is

J. Jill, recognized for its catalogs featuring classic casual clothing

for women, has opened a retail store at Fashion Island. The new J. Jill

store carries the complete collection of sweaters, shirts, pants, skirts,

dresses, outerwear and accessories. It’s located near Robinsons-May.

Claire’s Accessories is a new girl’s accessories store at Fashion

Island in Newport Beach. The store is filled with jewelry, sunglasses,

and rhinestone belts, messenger bags and nail polish. Its most popular

looks include denim, camouflage, marabou and flame-accented accessories.

It’s in the paseo between the Iris Fountain and Robinsons-May.

Sports Nation, another Fashion Island merchant, specializes in

authenticated sports photos, baseballs, sports trading cards, jerseys,
