Best athletic moment: “It was after the Sept. 11 attacks, our water

polo team organized a fund-raiser, an inner tube water polo game. We

raised almost $2,000 for the Red Cross. There were five of us who

organized it. There was the pie-in-the-face contest and seeing Mr.

Barnett with pie on his face was awesome. Someone paid $300 to throw the

pie in his face.”

Athlete of the Week XV: She stopped four shots, recorded two steals

and one assist in 12-3 win over Esperanza Dec. 11, then followed that up

with a nine-save effort in 13-1 trouncing of University Dec. 14.
