WEATHER FORECAST

A sunny, cool morning starts things off, with temperatures in the mid-

to even low 40s. And while the sun stays bright in the sky, things never

warm up much beyond the mid-60s. The winds stay calm, though, so overall

it’s a nice day.

BOATING FORECAST

Gale warnings are in effect, so be careful. In the inner waters, the

wind will blow from the west to northwest at 10 to 20 knots, kicking up

waves of 1 to 3 feet. The swell will be from the west, too, at 5 to 8

feet. The winds will calm down at night.

In the outer waters, the seas will be a combined 10 to 14 feet, with

northwest winds up to 25 knots. The winds will calm down overnight, but

the swell will stay strong at 10 feet from the northwest.

SURF

The surf should pick up a bit this morning, hitting solid chest-high

conditions. But the high tide will hurt things right when they get going

in the morning, and the rain Friday might make you want to think twice

about going in.
