Girls basketball: Sage Hill falls

Windward High went on a 20-4 run to start the game and never looked

back, earning a 62-30 victory over Sage Hill in the first round of the

Fairmont girls basketball tournament Thursday.

Katie Puishys had 11 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Lightning

(1-3). Carrie Clark piled up 10 points and was six for six at the

free-throw line.

Sage Hill takes on the Capistrano Valley Christian-Connelly loser

today at 3 p.m.
