Bank of America robbed

Two men in dark clothing and ski masks ran into a Huntington Beach

bank Saturday and ordered customers and bank employees to the floor while

they took an undisclosed amount of money and fled, Police said.

The robbery occurred at 12:40 p.m. Saturday at the Bank of America at

5812 Edinger Ave. in Huntington Beach.

Robbers removed the money from the teller’s drawers and escaped in a

waiting car, said Huntington Beach Police Sgt. R.K. Miller.

The car was found abandoned a short distance away from the bank a few

minutes later, and was identified as a car stolen from a Los Angeles

Police Department division, Miller said.

Police were unable to locate the suspects. There were no injuries.
