COSTA MESA

* Adams Avenue: Two minors were reported to be in possession of

alcohol at 1:20 a.m. Sunday.

* Baker Street and Royal Palm Drive: A 24-year-old man was arrested on

suspicion of violating parole at 1:55 a.m. Sunday.

* Victoria Street: A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of

being drunk in public at 3:10 a.m. Sunday.

* Newport Boulevard: A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of

car theft at 6:50 a.m. Sunday.

* Peterson Place: A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of

driving under the influence and with a suspended license at 11:35 a.m.

Sunday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Park Drive: A burglary was reported in the 2200 block at 9:26 a.m.

Monday.

* Cartegena: A caller reported hearing shots from the 1300 block at

5:16 a.m. Monday. Police were unable to locate the source of the noise.

* McFadden Place: An individual was reportedly drunk in public in the

100 block at 1:26 a.m. Monday.

* 39th Street: Police responded to a report of a disturbance, probably

a party, in the 200 block at 12:05 a.m. Monday.

* 49th Street: Battery was reported at the intersection of Neptune

Avenue at 6:44 p.m. Sunday.

* Balboa Boulevard East: Police arrested a suspect in a hit-and-run in

the 900 block at 6:08 p.m. Sunday.

* Birch Street: A commercial burglary was reported in the 3700 block

at 3:35 p.m. Sunday.
