WEATHER FORECAST
The rainy conditions almost weren’t on Tuesday, but that’s OK because
it’s best the trick-or-treaters don’t trek through too much mud today. It
should be a fairly nice, but slightly cool Halloween today and this
evening. Expect partly cloudy skies with highs in the high 60s in
Newport-Mesa.
Lows should dip into the mid-50s tonight so keep those candy seekers
warm with a nice little sweater or jacket this evening. And watch out for
goblins, though they shouldn’t affect the weather too much.
Expect a sunnier and warmer day Thursday as we enter November with
highs in the 70s.

BOATING FORECAST
The northwesterly winds will blow 10 to 15 knots in the inner waters
throughout the day, generating waves of about a foot with a west swell of
3 feet. Out farther, there should be similar conditions early and late
with winds of 10 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Waves will still be about
2 feet with a northwest swell of 5 feet.
SURF
There should be some nice waves in the chest-high range today, though
Tuesday’s rain could increase bacteria levels in the ocean and bay, so
play it safe. The northwest swell will ease up a bit Thursday returning
the surf to the waist-high range.
