Sailors clinch portion of Sea View
Newport Harbor High’s girls tennis team clinched a share of the Sea
View League championship with a 12-6 verdict over visiting Laguna Hills
Tuesday, and can claim it all on Thursday with a victory at Woodbridge.
Natalie Braverman led the way at No. 1 singles, while the Khoury
sisters, sophomore Diana and senior Carmen, racked up another sweep to
improve their record to 38-2.
The Sailors (13-2, 7-0 in the Sea View) host Corona del Mar today at 2
in a nonleague battle of local titans.
