WEATHER FORECAST

Call it sunny, very sunny. And it’ll be quite warm with readings in

the low 80s, though it should feel as though it’s in the mid-80s. Seems

like the perfect day to hit the beach and brave those cool waters.

Overnight will produce perfect conditions for shorts at 67 degrees.

Expect slightly hotter temperatures Saturday for what looks to be a

wonderful weekend.

BOATING FORECAST

Patchy dense fog and light winds will kick off the day in the harbor.

Western winds of 10 to 15 knots will produce 2-foot waves and a western

swell of 3 feet. That should rule supreme come nightfall, as well, with

that pesky fog returning.

Stronger winds will dominate outside the harbor and farther out with

northwestern winds of 10 to 20 knots generating 3- to 4-foot waves and a

northwestern swell of 7 feet. The same will be encountered at night while

areas of dense fog roll in.

SURF

A combination of southwest swell and northwest wind swell won’t do

much to build great surf. In other words, expect some knee- to waist-high

waves and the occasional shoulder-highs and fair conditions. The same can

be found throughout the weekend. Bring out the kids.
