1. PORTRAIT STATEMENTS. “Portrait of the Artist,” an exhibit of works

from the Orange County Museum of Art’s collection exploring questions of

self and identity in 20th century American art, will be up through Oct. 7

at the museum’s satellite gallery in South Coast Plaza, 3333 Bristol St.,

2. STAYING ALIVE. A touring production of “Saturday Night Fever -- the

Broadway Musical” will be presented Tuesday through July 8 at the Orange

County Performing Arts Center, 600 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa. Show

times are 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturdays, and 2

and 7:30 p.m. Sundays. An additional performance will be offered at 8

p.m. Monday. There will be no show Wednesday or 7:30 p.m. July 8.

3. REMEMBER THAT? “Nostalgia,” part of the Pacific Playwrights

Festival at South Coast Repertory, will be held at 7:45 p.m. today

through Monday at Second Stage, 655 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa.

Written by Lucinda Coxon, “Nostalgia” takes place on a farm in South

Wales where two brothers hear a siren’s song. The mysterious woman across

the river could hold the answer to what is in the woods. Add in the

creator of a world-famous fictional detective, and you have the start to
