The Independent asked students from Perry Elementary School what they

like most about the beach.

“I like the water. I like to swim and play. Me and my friends go and

play tag.”

“My favorite part of the beach is the animals like the hermit crabs,

brittle stars and sea slugs.”

“I like the animals, the birds. And I like to ride on my boogie board

in the water.”

“I like riding bikes on the beach with my family. We stop to eat lunch

near the beach. I really like the breeze from the ocean on a hot day.”
