personal-best leap of 19-11.

7. Senior two-way football lineman Antony Grubisich earns All-CIF

Southern Section Division IX recognition.

8. Senior guard Steve Whittaker sinks school-record 80 three-point

field goals and is first-team All-PCL, All-Newport-Mesa District and

represents the South in the Orange County All-Star Game.

9. Junior Stephen Thomas is second-team All-CIF Southern Section

Division IV in soccer.

10. Seniors Daniel Hunter (football and baseball), Louis Day (football

and soccer) and Mike Payne (basketball and volleyball), as well as junior

Nick Cabico (football and baseball), earn All-PCL honors in two sports.
