16000 block at 7:50 a.m. Friday.
* Brookhurst Street: A fire was reported in the 18000 block at 4:27
p.m. Friday.
* Brookhurst Street: A petty theft occurred in the 18000 block at 4:27
p.m. Saturday.
* Ellis Avenue: An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 9000 block at
6:29 p.m. Sunday.
* La Hacienda Avenue: Vandalism was reported in the 10000 block at
9:57 a.m. May 24.
* La Hacienda Avenue: Suspicious noises were reported in the 10000
block at 12:51 a.m. Friday.
* Magnolia Avenue: A robbery was reported in the 18000 block at 12:57
a.m. Tuesday.
* Slater Avenue: A disturbance of the peace was reported in the 10000
block at 5:08 p.m. Friday.
* Slater Avenue: Gunshots were heard in the 10000 block at 9:38 p.m.
May 23.
* Warner Avenue: A vandalism was reported in the 9000 block at 11:13
a.m. Sunday.
* Warner Avenue: A juvenile disturbance was reported in the 10000
block at 1:29 p.m. Sunday.
HUNTINGTON BEACH
* Banning Avenue and Starfire Lane: A woman complained to police about
a man in his late 20s, last seen wearing a white shirt and jeans, who
apparently drove a yellow mid-size car alongside her daughter and exposed
himself to her near the intersection at 6:30 p.m. May 22.
* Beach Boulevard: A man described as driving a red 1997 pickup truck,
without a shell, and having brown hair, reportedly hit a drive-thru
window clerk and made physical threats after becoming upset from having
to speak loudly into a drive-thru speaker in the 16000 block at 12:16
a.m. Saturday.
* Beach Boulevard: Someone apparently stole a business surveillance
camera, valued at about $6,000, from an establishment in the 18000 block
at 6:42 p.m. Friday.
* Cambria Circle: Two jet skies were reported stolen from a driveway
in the 6000 block at 11:28 a.m. May 22.
* Garden Circle: A three-foot tall statue of a woman was reportedly
stolen from a neighborhood porch, and later found in Bartlett Park, in
the 6000 block at 8:52 a.m. Sunday.
* Hughes Drive: A resident complained to police about two juveniles,
driving a white Ford pickup truck, who were apparently breaking out
windows of automobiles in the 6000 block at 3:35 a.m. Saturday.
* Mandrell Drive: Fire officials responded to an apartment fire
reported in the 7000 block at 2:01 p.m. May 24.
* Milano Drive: A 72-year-old woman was found dead, apparently the
result of the lung problems that plagued her, in the 8000 block at 5:33
a.m. May 23.
* Newland Street: Someone told police that an unknown number of
juveniles were playing and jumping around discarded oil tanks in the
21000 block at 6 p.m. Saturday.
* 9th Street: A woman complained to police about receiving death
threats on her answering machine from an unknown caller in the 300 block
at 1:55 p.m. May 23.
* Patterson Lane: Police responded to a report of five successive
shots fired near an alley in the 18000 block at 12:37 a.m. May 21.
* Sailfish Drive: A resident told police that a vandal had scrawled
the phrase “You Con Man” across his daughter’s garage in the 9000 block
at 1:09 p.m. Sunday.
* Sardinia Lane: A resident complained to police about a number of
dogs barking in the 19000 block at 9:48 p.m. May 21.
* Savoy Circle: A resident reported hearing explosions described as
two booms and two flashes, near her home in the 8000 block at 9:05 p.m.
May 23.
* Viewpoint Lane: Police responded to a family disturbance reported in
the 16000 block at 10:48 a.m. May 24.
* Warner Avenue: A resident complained to police about a prowler
reportedly lurking near a wall and hiding behind bushes in the 3000 block
at 3:29 a.m. May 23.
