SCHOOL LUNCH MENU
The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day
at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if
desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot
entree. School lunches are $1.75 each; the district does not accept
checks for less than $17.50. Here’s what’s being served this week:
TODAY
Munchable Lunch Salad with Dannon fruit yogurt or state fair corn dog,
crisp green salad with low fat dressing, choice of 100% fruit juice,
choice of milk
WEDNESDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or Chuck E. Cheese-a-dilla, baby carrots with
low fat dip, glazed strawberries, choice of milk
THURSDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or turkey and gravy with mashed potatoes, fresh
baked whole grain roll, choice of fruit, choice of milk
FRIDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or Oscar Meyer all-beef hot dog on a bun, baby
carrots with low fat dip, frozen 100% fruit juice bar, choice of milk
MONDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or beef and cheese chalupa with shredded
lettuce, cheese and salsa, choice of fresh fruit, choice of milk
* The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,
crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit
yogurt, honey-roasted peanuts and dressing.
