Mesa Verde Community, Inc., is having its second meeting next week to

learn more about the Costa Mesa City Council and city staff.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. April 18 at the Neighborhood

Community Center, 1845 Park Ave. in Costa Mesa, and will allow residents

to ask Councilwoman Linda Dixon, City Manager Allan Roeder and City

Attorney Jerry Scheer questions.

Former Mayor Joe Erickson will moderate the event.

The meeting was originally scheduled to include Councilman Gary

Monahan instead of Dixon, who was expected to speak at the third meeting

in May.

New council members Karen Robinson and Chris Steel “headlined” the

first meeting in March, discussing a wide variety of topics including

rezoning, illegal immigration and charities.

Mayor Libby Cowan, Monahan and Don Lamm, deputy city manager and

development services director, will speak at the third meeting, scheduled

for 7 p.m. May 8.

Information: (949) 225-4296.
