COSTA MESA
* Bristol Street: Grand theft was reported in the 3300 block at 9:50
p.m. Wednesday.
* Country Club Drive: Burglary was reported in the 3000 block at 2:10
a.m. Wednesday.
* Harbor Boulevard: Petty theft was reported in the 2300 block at 4:30
p.m. Wednesday.
* James Street and Wallace Avenue: Grand theft was reported at 8:13
p.m. Wednesday.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Marcus Avenue: Vandals reportedly jumped on the roof of a car and
caused it to cave in several inches. The car was parked in he 3200 block,
and the incident was reported at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday.
* East Coast Highway: A man reportedly called a restaurant in the 2400
block at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday pretending to conduct a survey with an
employee and went on to make obscene comments about her shoes.
* Newport Center Drive: Event tickets worth $800 were reported stolen
in the 600 block at 8:41 a.m. Wednesday.
