Jesse Morrill scored two goals and also picked up an assist last

weekend as the Devils retained their hold on first place in the Patrick

Division by beating the Hot Shots, 5-1, at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey

Center in Huntington Beach.

Michael Zike also scored once with an assist, Adam Frey and Ryan

Turchi each scored once, and Tony Derleth and Matt Thomas had one assist

each, as the Devils improved to 5-0-2.

Thrashers 7, Lightning 3

Jonathan Radin scored three goals, Traves Smith collected three

assists, Jesse Montgomery scored once with two assists, James Larson

scored once with an assist, Sergei Sedykin and Cory Moody each scored

once, and goalie Chris King had 24 saves for the Thrashers, now 5-2-1.

Stephanie Martin, Jonathan Blunda, and Stephen Miller all scored once.

Kevin Rannow and Mike Blunda each had one assist, and goalie Dan Petry

stopped 22 shot attempts for the Lightning (2-4-2).

Chiefs 8, Dragons 3

Joshua Heyman scored three goals and handed out a pair of assists,

Tanner Marsey scored twice with an assist, Kelly Kelleher scored once

with an assist, and goalie Alex Vongkoth recorded 30 saves for the

Chiefs, who evened their mark at 4-4.

Chad Ramsey scored once with two assists and goalie Erik Larsen had 26

saves for the Dragons, who slipped to 2-5.
