SC Repertory names executive staffers

South Coast Repertory recently appointed Tom Aberger and Nicki

Genovese to its executive staff.

Aberger, who most recently came from the Walnut Street Theatre in

Philadelphia, is the new production manager. He oversees a full-time

staff of 30 and part-time staff members at the repertory’s technical

departments. He creates and supervises production budgets and interacts

with directors and designers for 13 stage productions. His other projects

include a touring show for schools and the Pacific Playwrights Festival

in June.

Genovese, who has served as South Coast Repertory’s business manager

since 1999, was named business director. She supervises 12 full-time and 14 part-time staffers. She oversees departments including accounting,

operations and the general business functions of the theater.

Prior to joining SCR, Genovese worked at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare

Festival in Allentown, Pa.
