HB Surf makes waves, tops Anarchy, 8-5
The HB Surf opened up the race for the Mite Club Division title
last weekend by handing division-leading Anarchy its first loss of the
season, 8-5, in action played at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in
Huntington Beach.
David Woods slapped in three goals and Kyle Enlow scored twice with an
assist as HB Surf, currently second in the standings, improved to 5-2.
Chad Ramsey and Kevin Lachman each scored once with two assists, Shane
Lakes scored once with an assist, Chase Chodzko had an assist, and goalie
Ross Turchi had 21 saves for HB Surf.
Mats Degerstedt scored twice, Rocco Grimaldi, Donald Watts, and Joshua
Laurel all scored once, Daniel Ha had an assist, and goalie Tony
Gutierrez stopped 26 shot attempts for Anarchy, which continues to lead
the division at 6-1.

LBZ 14, Flamebo 4
Jeffrey Deutchmann led all scorers with five goals, Jason Wall scored
four times and added an assist, Michael Burkhardt scored twice and handed
out a match-high four assists, Paul Anderson scored once with an assist,
Brad Barber and Darren Nowick both scored once, David Wear had three
assists, and goalie Brandon Prince had 19 saves for LBZ (4-2-1).
Jeff Bisso scored twice, Niko Urbano and Kevin Powers each scored
once, and Bradley Groen and Cameren Prime each had an assist for Flamebo
(2-4-1).
Predators 7, Biscuit Boyz 6
Patrick Mask scored three goals, Russell Peltier scored twice with an
assist, Chayce Yokoyama scored once and added three assists, Fred Puffer
scored once, Paul Leigh handed out three assists, and goalie Cameron
Monahan had 29 saves for the Predators (3-4).
Sam Robinson and Nicholas Delgleize both scored twice, Bryce Courtney
scored once with an assist, and goalie Patrick Lacy had 27 saves for the
Biscuit Boyz (2-4-1).
American Tofu 8, Eagles 3
Taylor Apostol scored four goals, Kenny Gibo scored once with three
assists, Kevin Michaels scored twice, Matthew Leitner scored once, Kevin
Morrison had two assists, and goalie Matthew Hiraoka had 23 saves as
American Tofu (1-5-1) collected their first win of the season.
Adam Daley scored twice and Adam Aguirre scored once for the Eagles
(3-4).
