Raptors clip Blackhawks, 5-1

With five players getting into the scoring act and goalie Wesley

Theobald recording 18 saves, last weekend, the Raptors scored a 5-1

victory over the Blackhawks in Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Adams Club

Division play in Huntington Beach.

James Andrews, Josh Duchon, Parker Miller, David Abady, and Joseph

Delp all scored for the Raptors, who improved to 2-3-2. Abady also had an

assist, as did teammate Annmarie Hetrick.

Connor Culhane scored for the Blackhawks, who received 18 saves from

goalie James Patton.

In other games:

Ice Pups 4, Panthers 1

Erik Jervik and Jared Neely each scored twice, Connor Lathrope scored

once, Kyle Christi and Andrew Mendoza both had an assist, and goalie Kyle

Merrick had 13 saves as the Ice Pups (1-2-4) picked up their initial win

of the season.

Nainoa Ane scored an unassisted goal, and goalie Katie Goode stopped

22 shots for the Panthers (1-4-1).

Hurricanes 4, Puck Hogs 2

Trevor Jackson powered the first-place Hurricanes (5-0-1) with three

goals and an assist, Quinn Piper scored once, and goalie Sean O’Connell

had 24 saves.

David Abady and Keith Fronk both scored, and goalie Marcus Kurth had

13 saves for the Puck Hogs (3-1-2), who suffered their first loss in

division play.
