president of the club. “A portion of the net proceeds will be distributed

to Childhelp USA and the Harvester Food Bank.”

Soud, Newport Beach. For more information, call (949) 675-6838.

The Campus Colleague Club at OCC has published a cookbook called The

Disabled Gourmet. “Our members and friends collected the recipes,” says

Edwina Crites of OCC. “Techniques for disabled cooks were submitted by

two registered occupational therapists, a professor of adaptive physical

education, a nurse, and from the experience of disabled members of our

organization.” All proceeds from the sale of the cookbook go to

scholarships and special needs of disabled students at OCC. It’s not

written just for the disabled, but for anyone who wants easy and quick

recipes. The cookbook is $14, plus $3 for shipping. To order a cookbook,

write to Campus Colleagues, Disabled Students Center, Orange Coast

College, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa 92628. Or call (714) 432-5807 or
