Kids talk back

I like teachers who choose different teaching styles. Kids learn from it

easier. It seems like more students will pay attention to the lesson if

the teachers have an interesting style, and then it doesn’t seem like

school.

Letting the kids sit next to each other is important. My third-period

teacher lets us sit together, and we can work together. Most teachers do

it alphabetically.

I like the kind of teacher who, instead of treating you like a student,

treats you like a friend. They cheer you on and they never put you down.

Someone who makes you actually do stuff like homework, instead of just

letting you slack off. They’ve got to be at least kind of strict. But

they have to be cool people, too. I had a teacher who was really mean

when he was in class. He had two personalities or something.

I like the physics teacher here, Mr. Lloyd. He gets really excited, and

he’s creative in the way he teaches. But then Mr. Berg is very different

and straight forward. You’ve just got to get the job done, or you’ll

fail.
