Boys tennis: CdM rebounds, swamps Santa Barbara
SANTA BARBARA - A day after a disappointing loss to Brentwood High,
Corona del Mar’s boys tennis team, ranked No. 3 in CIF Southern Section
Division I, destroyed host Santa Barbara, 14-4, Saturday.
CdM’s Cameron Ball only dropped one set at No. 1 singles. He was outdone
by the doubles team of Randy Myers and Michael Bean, who were perfect in
all three sets, 6-0.
The Sea Kings improve to 11-1, while the Dons, ranked No. 7 in Division
II, fall to 9-3.
