Baseball: Eagles rally for win

COSTA MESA - A four-run seventh inning helped Estancia High’s

baseball team win, 6-5, over visiting Orange Lutheran in a Costa Mesa

Tournament consolation game Saturday afternoon.

David Akiva’s two-out single in the bottom of the seventh inning gave the

Eagles (2-2) the win.

C.K. Green drove in two runs with a double and Armando Ortiz, who also

threw a complete game with six strikeouts, also had an RBI in the

four-run seventh.

Ortiz finished the game 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs.

The Eagles will travel to Garden Grove to take on Los Amigos Wednesday at

3:15 p.m.
