Women’s tennis: Lions doubled up by Western New Mexico
COSTA MESA - Lindsay Doyal and Megan Godfrey won alone and together
for the Vanguard University women’s tennis team in Friday’s 6-3
nonconference loss to Western New Mexico University.
Doyal won, 6-1, 6-2, while Godfrey prevailed, 6-4, 6-4 in singles’
competition for Vanguard (0-7).
The Lions’ duo teamed up for an 8-6 win on the doubles’ side.
The Lions will resume Golden State Athletic Conference action March 11 at
noon with a home contest against Westmont College.
