Buffalo Stampede rambles to 11-1 victory

Mauricio Torres led a potent Buffalo Stampede scoring attack with

three goals Friday in a 11-1 rout of No Fear 2 in a Squirt Club Division

match held at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Shaun Fulton also scored twice with a pair of assist and Mike Rusert also

scored twice as Buffalo Stampede improved to 4-2.

Kyle Moreno scored off a Chris Bathurst assist to account for the scoring

for No Fear 2, which fell to 0-5.

Pipeline 2000 12, No Fear 1

Pipeline 2000 (5-0) showed no fear in rolling to an easy victory as

Raymond Sweller scored three goals with an assist, Parker Ito scored

twice with two assists, Brian McShane scored twice, and Dustin Fair

assisted two goals.

No Fear 1 (1-5), coming off its first victory of the season, got a goal

and assist from Brian Kaminsky.

Sabres 9, Elmos 8

Adam Springer’s three goals paced the Sabres (3-2), who also received two

goals and two assists from Adam Cardwell, one goal and two assists from

Nick Schultz, a goal and assist from Ricky Olson, and one goal from Evan

Buechler.

Kenny Gibo and Skyler Hoar each scored twice with an assist to lead the

Elmos (3-2-1).

It was the second consecutive high scoring match for the Elmos, who

earlier in the week skated by No Fear 2, 14-6. In that win, team scoring

leader Nick Pappas scored four goals with an assist, Jonathan Gibo turned

in three goals and a division-best six assists, Adam Stanford scored

three goals, Scotty Locken scored twice with an assist, and Tanner Riley

scored once with four assists, and Stephen Nelson had a goal and assist

for the Elmos.
