Toshiba Senior Classic: The King tees off at 12:45 p.m. today in

NEWPORT BEACH - Arnold Palmer, perhaps the most famous player in

the history of golf, will tee off today on hole No. 1 at 12:45 p.m. in

the Toshiba Senior Classic Pro-Am at Newport Beach Country Club.

Palmer, making his first Toshiba appearance, will tee off Friday in

the first round at 9:40 a.m. with Lanny Wadkins and Larry Nelson in the

Senior PGA Tour event.

The 70-year-old legend, who plays a limited schedule, has 92 victories

worldwide in his career, including eight major championships. Tickets:
