NOTHING SPECIAL
The Zen Center of Orange County is holding an ongoing series of “Nothing
Special” Zen awareness workshops. Meetings are held from 7 to 9 p.m. on
the first and third Tuesdays of the month through April 18. There is a

MEDITATION WORKSHOP
The Rev. Samuel Trumbore, of the First Unitarian Universality Society of

BENJAMIN NETANYAHU
Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will speak at Temple Bat
Yahm at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 as the temple’s Norman Schiff Scholar Lecturer.

JEWISH FEDERATION SABBATH
Temple Bat Yahm will join with synagogues throughout Orange County in
observance of Jewish Federation Sabbath at 8 p.m. March 17. Temple Bat
Yahm member Charles Karp, president of the Jewish Foundation, will
explain the importance of the Jewish Foundation at the event. Temple Bat

PURIM CARNIVAL
Temple Bat Yahm will hold a Purim Carnival starting at 9 a.m. March 19.

RE-MEMBERING GROUP
Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish Center is hosting a six-week series of
talks for Catholics who feel spiritually homeless. The meetings will be

JESUS IN BLUE JEANS
The Rev. Gail Miller will hold a class based on Laurie Beth Jones’ book
“Jesus in Blue Jeans” from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays. The class will consider
the ways Jesus would deal with practical, everyday challenges. The class

DID GOD DESIGN THE UNIVERSE?
Christ Lutheran Church will hold an eight-week series of discussions on
“signs of intelligent design” in the universe starting Wednesday. The

CHILDREN OF OUR LORD
