HB Surf pounds Flamebos

With eight players hitting the scoring column, the HB Surf pounded

the Flamebos, 9-1, in a Mite Club Division weekend match at Coast 2 Coast

Hockey in Huntington Beach.

David Woods scored three goals and added two assists and Chad Ramsey

scored twice with a trio of assists to lead an HB Surf assault which also

saw Michael Burkhardt score once with an assist, Kyle Enlow collected two

assists, Chase Chodzko, Michael Mongelli, and Kevin Lachman each score

once, and Shane Lakes finish with a single assist.

The victory allowed the HB Surf (3-0) to main a first-place tie in the

division with LBZ.

Christopher Torres scored for the Flamebos, who dropped to 1-2.

Patrick Scott scored three goals and Donald Kohler was next with two as

LBZ remained unbeaten at 3-0; the Predators (1-2) received two goals from

John Thompson and a goal and assist from Daniel Gibson.

Biscuit Boyz 5, Eagles 3

Sam Robinson led all scorers with three goals and Tyler Post finished

with a goal and an assist as the Biscuit Boys improved to 2-1; Cory

Liska, Andrew Mastrolia, and Cody Barbo all scored for the Eagles (0-3).

Anarchy 8, Young Guns 4

Jeremy Melbye’s big game included five goals and an assist, Daniel Ha

assisted three goals and scored another, Steven Tomita scored once with a

pair of assists, and Tony Gutierrez scored the other goal for Anarchy

(2-1).
